Both the BMW 2 Series and 3 Series have received Top Safety Pick+ designations from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). Good news for Toronto drivers.

In order to receive the IIHS' top safety rating, vehicles must excel in five crash tests, and score an "advanced" or "superior" rating in front crash prevention.
