Lexus may Build a Small Luxury Crossover

our focus shifted to the Frankfurt Motor Show which took place earlier this
month. Nearly every automaker on the planet was in attendance and put their
latest and greatest creations in center stage. We were impressed with every
exhibit we read about but one in particular got us especially excited for new
cars to come.

Lexus put on a big show at the event in Frankfurt
and debuted a new vehicle called the LF-NX Crossover
Concept. It appears that the good folks at Lexus have decided to try
their hand at producing a small crossover, and judging by the audience
responses, there is a good chance a production version might be close to a
reality.

The LF-NX Crossover Concept clearly had a focus on
style. The designers of this concept certainly didn't hold back when they added
a massive grille as well as massive air intakes in the front. The design is
very bold and powerful overall. The wheel arches are big and athletic while the
rear lift gate is steeply raked with adds to the extreme appeal.

Lexus noted that this concept was outfitted with
its new efficient full-hybrid powertrain tuned especially for an SUV but
neglected to include specifics. We are guessing that it will only be a year or
two before this urban SUV will be seen skating around the streets of Toronto.
